The app

Does it need an internet connection?: No. The app works offline and does not connect to the internet.
Can more than one child use it?: Yes. Each child picks their own name on the name screen and keeps their own progress, scores and badges.
I have forgotten the parent PIN.: If you turned on fingerprint or face unlock, open the parent area that way and choose Change PIN under Settings. If you did not, the only way back in is to delete and reinstall the app.
Deleting the app deletes every child's progress on that device. There is no backup and nothing to restore from. Before you do it, note anything you want to keep from the parent area.
Can I move progress to another device?: No. Progress is stored only on the device it was played on.

What does the check involve?: The format is set by the Standards and Testing Agency and published on gov.uk. Test Conditions in the app uses the same question count, answer time and pause between questions, gives no help during the round, and adds a short countdown before the first question.
Which tables does each level practise?: By default, Easy: 2, 5 and 10. Medium: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10. Hard and Test Conditions: every table from 2 to 12. A parent can change the tables and timers of the practice levels but not Test Conditions.
Why is there no sound in Test Conditions?: The real check is silent and gives no feedback until the end. Test Conditions matches that.
